Quality Assurance

Customer satisfaction is paramount to Rebound Express. The focus of our working practices and processes is to ensure an all round understanding of our customers needs. All products, without exception, are photographed and are fully traceable from receipt through to sales order dispatch.

  • Rebound achieved certification of ISO9001:2000 in March 2005. This certification was subsequently replaced by ISO9001:2008 in December 2009.
  • Rebound achieved certification of AS9120 in March 2011. A comprehensive quality management system for the distribution of Aerosapce devices.
  • Rebound achieved certification of ISO13485 in February 2013. A comprehensive quality management system for the distribution of Medical devices.
  • Rebound achieved certification of SC21 : Silver in June 2012. A collaborative quality improvement programme for the UK Aerospace and Defence industry
  • Rebound are a member of ERAI. A global information services organization that monitors, investigates and reports issues affecting the global semiconductor supply chain.
  • Rebound are a member of COG. A special interest group concerned with addressing and mitigating the effects of obsolescence in the semiconductor industry.

We continually strive to develop and strengthen our quality management system in order to remain responsive to our customers’ requirements and to the dynamics of the ever-changing market.

Quality Objectives

  1. To ensure that our processes are efficient, effective and relevant and are continually reviewed as part of the Continuous Sustainable Improvement Plan (C.S.I.P)
  2. To achieve high levels of product quality and conformity, with a targeted customer rejection rate of no more than 1.0%
  3. To continuously review, evaluate and develop our supplier base to achieve a core of preferred suppliers

RoHS & WEEE Directives Statement

Rebound Express recognizes its responsibilities to the environment as well as its customers.

With the advent of the RoHS (Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directives, we have reviewed our processes to ensure we are able to assist our customers to meet their responsibilities regarding these directives.

Although it remains the responsibility of the customer to accurately detail the exact product specifications, we shall, as always, endeavour to assist with any necessary fact finding in order to supply the product required.

Rebound Express does not undertake any design or manufacturing activities and cannot declare nor certify the chemical properties of resale components with regard to RoHS compliance. The declaration of chemical properties and RoHS compliance remains the responsibility of the component manufacturer.

Environmental Policy

Rebound Express recognizes it responsibilities towards the environment and seeks to ensure that whilst its impact within the market place is maximized, its impact on the world in which we live is minimal.

We are committed to the prevention of pollution and to ensuring that our processes are conducted in accordance with the relevant environmental legislation.

In addition to our legal responsibilities, we seek to minimize our impact upon the environment by:

  • Evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible
  • Reducing energy consumption
  • Minimizing waste and promoting recycling

These objectives have been communicated to all employees of the Rebound Group as well as those working on its behalf and are available to the public upon request.
